BELGRADE - The work of more than 150 journalists and representatives of environmental NGOs, a final result of the communication skills trainings held from September until December this year across Serbia will be presented at the Nis Media Center tomorrow.
Participants at the training courses, implemented by the EkoForum non-governmental organization and supported by the OSCE Mission to Serbia, were tasked with identifying environmental challenges in their own towns and writing recommendations for how to deal with them. Their feature stories and reports will be posted on the Eko Forum's website which will be launched on this occasion.
The Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia Democratization Department, Daianna Falloni will speak at the opening of the event.
The OSCE Mission to Serbia will continue to work on increasing the visibility of environmental issues bv enhancing the media-relations capacity of environmental NGOs and training journalists in reporting on environmental activities.
Journalists are invited to attend the opening of the presentation at 12:00 hrs, on Wednesday, 9 December, at Media Center, Obrenoviceva 38, Nis.
