BELGRADE - The Foreign Ministry supports the signing of the convention prohibiting the use of cluster bombs, but the Defense Ministry does not, daily "Politika" writes.

BOR - Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic today stated that the government will set aside €1.1 million from the National Investment Plan and the Environmental Protection Fund for the urgent reduction of air pollution in Bor.

BELGRADE - Energy Minister Petar Skundric says that Russia has given strong guarantees that the South Stream gas pipeline through Serbia will be complete by 2015.

OSIJEK - A boat carrying euro-diesel fuel from Novi Sad has run aground near the border town of Apatin.
The boat ran aground yesterday because of the Danube’s low water-level, while according to a statement from Croatia’s Emergency Center, owing to the danger of an oil spill, the fuel will be pumped out of the boat today.
